Learning Opportunities
We are dedicated to providing endless learning opportunities both indoors and outdoors. Our garden areas allow children to explore natural environments in all weather conditions. In our wooden shelters, we cosy up to share stories while listening to the rain, build castles and towers in our construction area, and offer a special space for our babies to explore.
The Nest
In The Nest, our babies explore treasure baskets filled with carefully selected natural resources that awaken the senses and support schematic play. This calming room is perfect for our youngest children as they begin their nursery journey.
The Atelier
Located on the second floor, our Atelier room is a haven for creativity, offering opportunities for mark-making, imaginative play, and storytelling. Here, children use real vegetables and utensils to create cafes and shops, and toddlers enjoy making their own play dough, enhancing fine motor skills and independence.
The Academy
In The Academy, we focus on activities inspired by the children’s interests. Each morning, we share experiences during Fika Time. We extend children’s questions and curiosity through collaborative research. Reflection Time allows us to come together, discuss our favourite activities, and plan future adventures. Curiosity Cubes foster peer communication, and our key workers guide children in seeking knowledge, preparing them for their next steps in school.
The Retreat
Adjacent to the Atelier, The Retreat is a serene room used for one-on-one learning, target time, yoga, sensory sessions, and moments of tranquillity. With twinkling fairy lights and projections of calming scenes, it provides a peaceful backdrop for guided meditation and immersive provocations.
